From Test to Testimony...
So, for those of you who don't know, I'm a published author...we'll sort of. I wrote an article for a magazine distributed by my church. They've now posted it on their website. Relay For Life: A Sneek Peek
For those of those who don't know what I do, here is a peek into the life of an American Cancer Society Relay Manager:
Claremont Relay, May 19-20th, Gross Income: $143,000
Upland Relay, June 2-3,2007, Gross Income: $75,000

I was running at the Rose Bowl yesturday and was very excited to see Meredith Baxter, the mom from Family Ties, out walking her sheltie. LA never loses it's excitment.

Overtaken by an Immigration Protest
I had to work out of our LA office today. On my way home my car was taken over by a sea of immigration protesters. While choppers hovered above, I documented the events that unfolded. These are some of my favorite characters!
The Patriotic Cowboy:
Ole! The Sombrarro Man:
The Guy who monopolized on the opportunity to sell fruit: (I think people were more interested in the protest)
Here's a link to a video on all the students who skipped school to protest. Hmmm, do you think they really knew what they were protesting, or maybe they were just excited to have a reason to skip class.

Tag-Team Family Palooza 2007
I have just had the best past two weeks. First, my sister came for a week, then my mom flew in and we all had 24 hours together, than Linds left and it was me and mom for a week. LOVED IT!!

I went out to get my mail today and there was a new sign posted above our mailboxes:
Uh...thanks? So, what am I supposed to do with this information? I think maybe this is just so that when they are pulling my lifeless body from the rubble they can say, "I told you so!"
